Scooters really have taken off these past few years and those of us who are only just catching on can certainly rely on a mesmerising choice of brilliant products.

Razor are one of the major brands and have a really good track record at producing fine two wheel and three wheeled scooters.

Get your kids set up with all the need to have a heap load of fun, keep fit and keep safe. And let them ride to school and learn their freedom on these fantastic kick scooters.

There’s even the choice to buy cheap scooters or buy electric scooters that are even produced to be able to carry a heavier load which may just mean you could use one on your daily commute to the office.

Electric scooters have the advantage of being able to get up to speeds of approximately 15mph and only take 7 hours to fully charge which means it would be just in time for you to get home again.

It’s not all about the kids you know.

But don't forget that no matter of who is riding a scooter, whether it is powered by foot or motor you need to wear a helmet.

This is a superb little scooter. It has 4 wheels which means its made for carving, it takes all the best elements from skateboarding and from the kick scooters and puts it into its own neat package that will provide tonnes of fun.

The Fuzion scooter is made from aircraft grade aluminum which makes it strong and durable, it has polyurethane wheels that will make for a smooth ride and it will take weights up to 200lb.

The scooter includes a height adjustable handle bar so you can make it as comfortable as possible for your height and riding style. This handle bar has the capability to rotate through 360 degrees to let you make some real decent tricks.

There are ABEC bearings so you know you can trust them and lets you get on with riding, enjoying and pulling off some fine tricks.

Wow! The Maxi Kick Scooter has some heritage, it won the Oppenheim Portfolio Gold and Platinum Award Seals for 2009 and still keeps going strong.

This Swiss designed scooter will not only deliver on fun for the kids but adults can be rest assured that the design is good and well made.

The wheels are Italian made and have been formed from PU which makes them both durable and smooth in the ride.

The Maxi Kick Scooter has 3 wheels which will make it easier to use for children and aides the unique steering mechanism that allows them to lean and steer, it kind of gives a feeling of surfing whilst on the sidewalk which I must say sounds real fun.

The Maxi scooter has been designed for 6-10 year olds and has been made light weight so that it can easily be carried around when not being ridden.

At approximately 5.5lbs it’ll be fine to be taken everywhere and anywhere and is suitable for urban or suburban pavements.

The Razor A2 scooter has been designed for riders aged 5 years and older. It can support up to a 143 lbs and weighs approximately 6lbs.

This A2 scooter has been redesigned from the original kick scooter and has put in a whole load of new and great design ideas.

The Razor A2 Kick Scooter is made from aluminum to make it light weight but its of sturdy aircraft grade aluminum so you can be sure it is robust and will take some wear and tear and heavy use.

Like other Razor scooters it has a patented T-tube and deck which folds down smoothly and neatly into a compact package that allows for easy transport.

This design includes a springless shock system that takes the edge out of bumpy roads and makes for a smoother ride.

The wheels are 98mm inline style wheels that have a rear fender brake to keep the kids safe if they need to make a quick stop.

A great innovation on this scooter is the wheelie bar that means the kids can get out there and have loads of fun pulling tricks.

For the older kids, this Razor Kick Scooter is a favourite among scooter fans.

The Razor A5 Lux Scooter has had some redesigning to make it suitable and ride-able for people of all ages. It’s aimed at 8 years old and older and with its extra large urethane wheels that are now 200mm, these wheels are designed to be able to support up to 220 pounds.

The wheels with their larger circumference actually mean they require less work than smaller wheels so a boon there.

The A5 Lux not only has larger wheels but has had the frame strengthened also. There is the aluminum super strong t-tube frame that also means it can carry that weight and it includes an adjustable handle bar height.

Also it has been designed with a smaller aluminum deck.

The Razor A5 Lux is a superb scooter, it folds up smoothly and quickly to make for quick storage and transportation.

The A5 Lux has great bearings in the Abec-5 bearings and it also has a patented rear fender brake to keep you safe. All in all this is a really great scooter that will allow the big kid in us to have a go at this fun sport.

This is a great fun trick scooter that will provide hours of fun and amusement.

With its two rear wheels which are housed on a double wing style platform it enables the rider to propel the scooter forward with a simple twist of the feet.

This design actually means that it’s possible to power the PowerWing Scooter around corners and to also pull of a number of wicked tricks like side drifts, spin outs and kick outs.

The Razor PowerWing Scooter is suitable for riders of aged 5 and older with a weight limit of 143 lbs.

It has been produced with rear castor wheels; a 125mm polyurethane (PU) front wheel and includes a brake system for safety and a steel frame for strength.

These have some seriously great designs and the picture does not do them justice by showing only the black version, which I might add is actually very cool in its simplicity.

There's the camo style design, not too much but with an artistic flare, Red Creep is my favourite and the white Paul B Signature Edition is pretty special also.

Check them out and now that whilst riding you really need to keep that head safe and there really is no better ways of doing that than in one of these helmet. And if anyone can find anything cooler than these Giro Flak designs then I'll be incredibly surprised.

Well, moving on from my out and out love for the art work let me just give a brief of the helmet itself.

The construction is from an ABS shell which will stand up to high impacts to keep that noggin safe. There are 13 vents in the helmet for cooling over the skull and has been produced in three great sizes to make sure everyone can wear this helmet with a safe fit.

Bell is doing some seriously cool helmets from designs by Jimbo Phillips and Paul Frank.

Bell make fantastic cycling helmets and now these great skate inspired helmets are really on the mark.

Made with ABS hard plastic for the outer shell and inclusive of a dual density EPS liner your head will sure be safe.

To make the helmet more comfortable to wear on hot days or just when your riding real hard Bell have included 12 air vents in the design to cool the head.

Just in case you still weren’t sure the Bell Faction Helmet has been tested and gained the safety standards of CPSC bicycle safety and ASTM 1492 skate certification.

Because its been designed for younger people it will fit well which adds to safety to keep your head nice and snug in the helmet. 

The Razor helmet has an ergonomically designed inner and 17 vents which will keep your head real nice and cool on a long session, which is most important to stop you becoming uncomfortable and overheating.

If you want to take a step up from a trick scooter, perhaps you have further to travel but still prefer to ride on a scooter then you’ve got the option of keeping your skills up with an electric scooter.

The Razor E300 Electric Scooter is meant for ages of 12 years and older and up to 220 lbs. It has the ability to reach speeds of up to 15mph due to it having a chain driven motor.

The deck frame is super sized so that you can be comfortable whilst riding, and 10 inch wide pneumatic tires that make the ride real smooth.

There is a twist grip acceleration control and a hand operated rear brake. There are two 12 volt batteries that power the scooter (lead acid) and a battery charge.

To corner the Huffy Green Machine just use the dual joysticks which will steer the back wheels.

The seat is adjustable to fits all and it has a front wheel hand brake for safety and pedals with steel crank shafts.

This really is not only a great looking machine but one that will keep you excited about riding it.

The Electric go cart has been designed so that it suitable for children of 8 years onwards and will support weights up to 140 lbs.

This Razor Ground Force Electric Go Kart can reach speeds of 12 mph and can run for up to 45 minutes on each charge.

It has a 12 volt battery and takes from 4-6 hours charging time.
